Since 1 October, the Fürstenfeld native has been taking the wheel at the Zloam Wirt to spoil our guests with the best delicacies from Austrian cuisine at the highest level.

Michael Spirk's stations in the world of gastronomy read like a who's who. As head chef at the Gasthof Post in Lech am Arlberg for many years and awarded two Gault Millau toques, he has previously worked in top kitchens all over the world, including - to name just a few - the Palais Schwarzenberg and the Restaurant Korso in Vienna, the Hotel Jagdhof in Neustift, the Residenz Heinz Winkler, the Malbuner Stube in Lichtenstein and The Restaurant at Meadowood in California.

In his work, Michael Spirk is supported by his partner Christine Schimpf. The Upper Austrian has perfected her craft at restaurants like the Salzburger Hof Zell am See or Restaurant Steirereck in Vienna, among others. As a patissière, she has enchanted guests with her tempting creations at restaurants such as the Gasthof Adler in Schwarzenberg and the Hotel Madlochblick in Lech.
